Bast Shrine Opening June 13-15, 2003
The first order of business was to set up an indoor shrine for Bast as we celebrated Her in an intensive Friday and Saturday. Here you can see the Shemsu-Ankh banner of our faith, the smaller gold icon of Bast used in our formal shrine, a larger bronze Bast to be placed in Her outdoor shrine on Sunday, Her Holiness' regalia, and other items donated or placed there by participants in the intensive.

Bast is an important goddess to the Kemetic Orthodox. She was the first divinity to appear to all of the founders of the faith, and as such was honored in the name of our first temple for many years, the House of Bast.
